Project Overview:
This vidieo is part of CNET's space science series, exploring the topic of oxygen production on Mars. I worked as a motion graphic deisgner, creating visuals to support the storytelling and make complex scientific concpets more accessible to viewers.
My Role:
Science Facts Research, Visual Story Ideas, Storyboard, Graphic Design Asset Creation, Animation
Software:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
Process:
Using a script provided by the host, I began with in-depth reserach to fully understand the science behind the Moxie experiment (Mars Oxygen In-Situ Resource Utilization Experiment). After gathering accurate information, I developed a storyboard, designed graphic assets, and animated the visuals. I collaborated closely with the team throughout the process to ensure alignment with the project's educational goals.
I created from the scratch to the final product: Research -> Ideation -> Storyboard -> Graphic Design -> Animation
Result:
The final animation clearly illustrated how oxygen can be produced on Mars, helping viewers better understand the Moxie technology and its significance in future space exploration.
